These twelve paintings are from Victoria's most recent series in abstract acrylics on canvas and feature works in complimentary colors, those opposite each other on the color wheel that naturally work well together. The works have the added element of visual textures to her previous complimentary color series, as well as were painted in a horizontal orientation as opposed to a vertical orientation as were the earlier works. These works are currently hanging at the Hagar Smith Design Architectural Firm in downtown Raleigh,NC through the end of December 2019.
Beginning in February of 2018, Victoria began painting a brand new series of abstract acrylics on canvas using only the complimentary colors blues and oranges and reds and greens! Six of these are displayed at ArtSpace Inc. in downtown Raleigh, from November, December 2018 through January 2019!

Victoria began her painting career while at the University of North Carolina at Chapel hill as a painting major. Here she worked almost exclusively in abstract acrylics on large canvases.  She loved the hard edges that are attainable using acrylic paint and pink and red were her favorite colors!
